Exterior Painting
There are some key points when preparing and painting exterior areas.
Sanding: If your current paintwork on house is still in good condition, a light and thorough sand should be sufficient.
If you notice any house peeling, or cracks let us know straight away as those needs to be taken care of before we would paint.
Water blasting
During the cold months, mould and moss loves to grow and roofs, walkways, courtyard and deck can get slippery and dangerous.

Spray Painting
Spray Painting is a painting technique where a device and an operator sprays a coating (paint, ink, vanish) through the air onto a surface.
Ideally before spray painting can happen we suggest that you or we sand the surface down first to ensure that the paint or ink stays on the surface.
Plastering
Plastering is the process of firstly mixing gypsum in water and sand and covering a wall, ceiling, or other structure with it. It gets hard upon drying.
This is one of the best material which can be use for wall coatings and partitions.

Scraping Old Paint
If you find any evidence of unevenness or paint failure, your best bet is to remove the peeling by scraping it. Decor Painting uses few tools to do this job. One of them is a scraper. Some are blunt scrapers and others are smoothing finishes.
At times this task will need to be done before actual painting work.
Sanding
We’ll start with an at-home consultation, which includes detailed measurements. Once we start work, we begin by removing excess material and (floor coverings etc..). We start the sanding process with a coarse sandpaper and moving onto fine sandpaper for that smooth polished finish. This prepares the surface for staining or coating.

Wall Papering
Wallpapering is a popular way of achieving different textural and patterned. If the walls are already wallpapered, all existing wallpaper must be removed.
Decor Painting provide excellent services for Wall Papering from stripping to adding another texture or wall paper.
Floor/Concrete Painting
Before we paint the floor we need to sand it now to remove rough patches. The floor can be stained if wood or painted over where ever we sand it down.
The concrete floor must be completely dry before beginning this project. If your floor shows any signs of water seepage, the source of the water must be eliminated before starting. Some of the materials used for this project require special masks and other equipment, due to fumes.
Car Park Painting
Decor Painting adhere to AS/NZ Standard 2890 for car park painting services.
Winter is the best time at updating line and safety markings in your carpark. If you need car park to be water blasted and cleaned first we also do that. See Water Blasting above.
Polyurethane Paint
